Book Reviews with a new Brew every time.

Disclaimer: I try not to give away too many spoilers or specifics, but overall this is a summary of the book and what I liked most about it. Some details are included.

Broken Soul is the third and final book in the Deviant Souls MC series and it might have been my favorite. Diesel is a former military turned mechanic and MC enforcer. He not only thinks he doesn’t deserve love, but that he would drag someone into his darkness. However, when he meets Odette, all of that changes. Sure, he still doesn’t think he deserves her, but he’s also not willing to give her up. I loved how gentle and calm he was with her immediately. He knew she had been through something traumatic and he automatically adjusted his approach.

Odette has grown up in a terrible atmosphere and felt weak and worthless. Getting the courage to pick up and leave with no destination in mind or plan in place was extremely brave. She shows how strong and nurturing she is when she is able to comfort Diesel and calm his mind.

There were quite a few spicy scenes in this short book, but I’m not complaining. I think my favorite though was the moment they shared their first kiss after Diesel’s nightmare. He let her in and the walls started coming down for both of them, it was very sweet and intimate.

I really enjoyed this series and the way each MC brother developed throughout their stories. Each heroine was strong and held her own in this foreign MC world. Each story had an element of action and suspense to add to the depth of the story. I enjoyed how it developed and progressed through each story coming to an end in this last book with the help of a mafia enforcer setting up another series by Cameron Hart 😊

Next up will be a series by another favorite author, Kat Baxter, that I think you will equally enjoy so stay tuned!

Favorite Quote: “I love you, Odette. I love you in a way I’m only just starting to comprehend. We might not know everything about each other yet, but we know the things that matter. I feel you in my soul, princess. You can’t get rid of me now.” – Diesel

BREW: Well it’s November, so Starbucks has released holiday cups and drinks! I tried the Sugar Cookie Latte last year for the first time and loved both the iced and hot versions. It was a chilly day, so I opted for the hot latte and it hit the spot. It tastes like a warm sugar cookie right out of the oven, yum!
